Last updated: May 17, 2026
Sparrow is designed as a local macOS utility. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
Data Collection
Sparrow does not collect analytics, usage data, personal information, device identifiers, or crash reports.
Network Access
Sparrow does not require network access for its core functionality and does not send data to external servers.
Local Preferences
Sparrow stores your selected mouse button mappings locally on your Mac using standard macOS preferences. These settings stay on your device.
Input Permissions
Sparrow needs permission to observe global mouse button presses so it can detect the buttons you configure for switching Spaces.
Sparrow does not record your clicks, mouse movement history, keyboard input, screen contents, or application activity. Mouse button events are used only to decide whether to trigger a Space switch.
Third Parties
Sparrow does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or external services.
